Percentage of Births registered (X_11a): This indicator is important for estimating demographic parameters. The level of registration of births also gives an indication of the social and economic development of the district. Among all the district the highest estimated percentage of births registered was in Lawngtlai District in Mizoram and the lowest was in Kushi Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh.
